I keep intentional capacity - only 5-7 clients at a time. If the fit is right and the investment is genuinely out of reach, let's talk.

The method

Most coaching changes what you do. This enables more of who you are.

There are three layers to the practice - each one doing something the others can't.

Beholding - a relational practice for deep change

At the heart of this work is a quality of attention that most people have never experienced in a professional context. Beholding is a simple dialogue practice that cuts through layers of self-talk and imagined reality to get to the nub of what's going on, quickly. Drawing on practices such as mindfulness, circling and Internal Family Systems, it creates the conditions in which you stop performing, begin to see yourself clearly and what needs to change. And in terms of relational intelligence - you'll be learning skills that benefit all of your relationships. It is easy to learn, becomes second nature quickly and it's where real change starts.

Design thinking as a change methodology

Clarity alone isn't enough. Alongside a deep understanding of the current reality and what needs to change, we need a rigorous way to work with it. The approach I use draws on twenty years of award-winning design practice and the methodologies I've trained hundreds of leaders in globally. We observe, hypothesise, prototype and test - in real life, not in theory. Our work together is treated as a design problem, not a willpower problem. That distinction changes everything about how change gets built, and why it holds.

Grounded in accredited coaching practice

Both of the above sit within a rigorous professional coaching framework. I'm a fully-insured, accredited executive coach with 10 years experience supporting professionals. The relational depth has structure beneath it. Beholding ensures the work is real. The design thinking ensures it's effective. The accredited practice ensures it's safe.

Together, these three layers create something most development misses: change that reaches the root - and holds.

"Crucially, working with Matt gave me the confidence to really commit to this process. I wasn't sure about Beholding to begin with and I'd never used Design Thinking before but his warm, open manner and gentle, authoritative clarity enabled me to trust the process and move one step at a time into my future."

Risk reversal

The first session is on me.

No pitch. No obligation. Just a real conversation about whether this is your next right step.
